Division of tourist season:
The best season:
The best season throughout the year is from October to November. When the monsoon disappears and the rainy season is over, the dry season begins. With the brilliant sunlight and clear sky of high visibility, it is indeed the best time and the peak-season for traveling and photographing. Tourists who are fond of multi-culture in Nepal and the picturesque snow mountain views from all over the world are rushing here. You may find many tourists in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Gorka, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, etc.

The second best season:
The dry season ends before April, so from February to April is the second best travel season in Nepal. However, as an increasing dust in the air, the air visibility may decrease a lot. Weather is warm at this time with all kinds of flowers blooming and singing birds somewhere among the mountains. How pleasant it is!

Regular season:
Starting from December to the next January, the weather is cool and clear, but longer in the nighttime and shorter in the daytime with the relative low temperature in both morning and night. It may not be proper for those photographing amateurs who prefer to out photographing early in the morning and back in the late evening.

Relatively poor season:
Summer is no doubt the relatively poor season from June to September; it is not suitable for traveling in Nepal, unless you want to enjoy all-weather view here. Just the same with other Indian subcontinent nations, the variation of the monsoon is from June to September. While the water of Bay of Bengal evaporates, it will be absorbed by the thin air under the action of the sunlight in Tibet Plateau and finally formed into rainfall by the warm-wet clouds heading for Indian subcontinent. Only a small number of the high peaks are free from the influence in this area. When it is middle ten days of May, Nepal enters the rainy season, and the most frequent time is from June to early in September, which the mountains are blocked by the monsoon climate. Road condition is bad because of the rainfall, which makes it muddy and impassible. But it makes some adventurous outdoor activities like rafting at this time more challenging and excited, if you are one of the faithful rafting fans.
